American Poodles At Work
is a Massachusetts-based program which breeds, raises, trains, and
places Standard Poodles as assistance dogs. We are dedicated to
providing well-trained, intelligent, healthy Poodles who enjoy working
for their partners, fulfilling the assistance dogs' purpose as an
unobtrusive helpmate.
Our Mission
American Poodles At Work was founded to provide highly-trained assistance dogs to people who prefer or need a Poodle due to allergies or lifestyle. We carefully select and teach our dogs, always with the end goal in mind -- a joyful, willing and intelligent, unobtrusive helpmate.
Through a detailed personality analysis we strive to match client and dog such that there is an almost immediate bond, strong enough that many would call it a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
It is with these ideals that American Poodles At Work continues with our endeavors.
Poodles are widely considered hypo-allergenic for most people - meaning that even if someone is allergic to dogs, they may not have a reaction to Poodles.
